MIT SAAS works hard to bring you exciting events, initiatives, study breaks, dances, cultural shows, and more throughout the year! Please check out our Instagram page or join our mailing list to keep up to date on all of our amazing events! Have event ideas or want to collaborate? Email saas-exec@mit.edu to let us know! Our events are open to all MIT affiliates, but are geared towards MIT undergraduates. Some of our events, including Garba, Holi, and C-Show, are open to the public, so keep tuned for information around those!

Annual Public Events

Garba

Every year, we work together to put on our annual Garba Raas event! This event is one of our most popular events, and had over 500 attendees last year! It's open to everyone at MIT and the community. Our annual Garba took place on October 15, 2022 this year. Keep on the lookout for more information about our event next year!

Holi

Holi is the festival of colors, and we work to bring you Holi every year! Last year, we held Holi on April 23, 2022. This year, expect bigger partnerships, more colors, and bigger spaces!

C-Show

Every year, we host a cultural show, or C-Show! Last year, we combined C-Show with Pohela Boishakh and held it on May 6, 2022. This year, we're combining C-Show with an Eid celebration, so get ready for our first ever Eid/C-Show celebration!

Get Serious with SAAS

Get Serious with SAAS is a discussion series where members of the South Asian community at MIT talk about issues affecting the subcontinent and South Asian disapora such as colorism.
